Position: Dairy Commodity Trader (China)
Working hours: Full time (40 hrs/week)
Location: Remotely from China

You will manage existing and new trade and sales opportunities within the Chinese market and provide the best possible services to your suppliers and customers. You will do this by actively building and leveraging your network. You will develop new relationships with customers (agents, importers and end users) and suppliers (dairy producers and brokers). Furthermore:

• You will negotiate and conclude contracts. You will follow up on these contracts in close cooperation with your colleagues in the Logistics and Quality departments. You will also be responsible for minimizing risks;
• Together with the team, you will build and maintain a good information network and keep abreast of developments in the market. You will identify opportunities and respond to them accordingly;
• You will actively contribute to the commercial activities within the sales team through the intensive exchange of market intelligence and financial information.

You are internationally oriented and ready for adventure. You can work well independently and you do not “wait and see” but are eager to take initiative. Therefore, you grasp possible commercial opportunities with both hands.

• You have 7+ years’ experience in a role as a trader, sales manager or other similar role. Do you also have experience in the dairy industry? That’s a huge plus!
• You have excellent knowledge of Mandarin and the English language, other languages are an advantage;
• You have a completed degree in an economic or market-oriented field such as (International) Business Administration or International (Agriculture) Trade;
• You have excellent communication skills and a strong customer-oriented vision;
• You live in China and are willing to work from there.
