This variety ensures that you can develop your skills in many different areas and learn all the ins and outs of international dairy trading. Together we can make a real impact.

In this role, you will be the key link between our customers, suppliers, and carriers, and you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics activities. You will get a unique insight into international trade and the different logistics aspects involved. It could be transporting milk powder to a customer in China, handling customer-related questions, determining the best transport price together with trade colleagues, or planning transport to a country in Europe by road. Every working day is different and dynamic.

You will be involved in day-to-day operations; handling transports with corresponding documentation and building and maintaining an effective logistics network. But your responsibilities definitely do not stop there! In fact, you will also be working on the following activities:

• With your expertise, you are capable of developing and optimizing our daily logistics operations and also proactivley contributing to knowledge sharing within the team;
• You maintain and optimize information and service systems (CRM, ERP), contribute to our quality systems (e.g. BRC);
• You train and coach your colleagues and contribute to their development in the logistics profession and you will work on your leadership skills too.

We’re seeking someone who is practical, adept at problem-solving and possesses excellent communication abilities for collaborating with internal and external parties. You have an eye for detail and a proactive attitude. Besides this, you have:

• A completed bachelor’s degree, such as HAS, Food & Business, Logistics Management, or International Business & Management Studies / Languages;
• Preferably you have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role;
• Excellent knowledge of the English and Dutch language, knowledge of the French language is a great advantage;
• A preference for living in the Rotterdam-Dordrecht-Breda region or you are willing to move to this region.
